Yoga for Performing Musicians: Daily & "On the Road" Practices to Energize Your Stage Presence and Strengthen Your Voice

In this two part workshop, join Karyn, Abigail, and Teni as they take you through practices to strengthen your vocal presence and loosen up the body to support live performance readiness. This workshop incorporates gentle stretching, breath work, and body movement often found in yoga and tailored for musicians and singers. Previous yoga experience is not required for participation. In part one, the focus will be on daily routines - including simple yoga exercises, gentle stretching, meditations, and breath work - to release tension and strengthen vocal musculature. Part two will focus on practical modifications and tips and tricks for taking your practice on the road with you into limited spaces like all the "green rooms" traveling musicians visit. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel!
